1. Who we are

Intercity Soccer League ("we", "us") operates the Intercity Soccer League website and tournament services. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through this Service.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we collect:

Account data: name, email, phone, login credentials.
Team & player data: team name, division, organization, jersey number, player names, dates of birth, parent/guardian names, parent contact info.
Support messages: content of emails or contact-form messages you send us.
Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, basic telemetry.

3. How we use it (purposes & legal basis)

Create and manage your account, your teams, and your rosters — contract performance.
Run the league and tournament (schedules, standings, approvals) — contract / legitimate interest.
Send transactional emails (approvals, payment confirmations, payment failures) — contract performance.
Prevent fraud, abuse, and secure the Service — legitimate interest / legal obligation.
Improve the Service — legitimate interest.

4. Who we share data with

Service providers / sub-processors we use for hosting, email delivery, and analytics.
Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where reasonably necessary.
Authorities where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account or team is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or operational requirements. We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email hello@intercityleague.org.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level database security — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
